Tech Lead - Magento

Responsibilities

• Magento customisation with in-depth understanding of code structure, extension architecture, theming hierarchy and fallback components.

• Solving our client’s eCommerce business problems with overall domain expertise and meeting delivery deadlines with the team is what is expected. 

• Able to follow Magento standard coding guidelines while working on customizations.

• Integrate  Magento 1 & Magento 2 extensions.

• Perform Magento  Module customization and Magento cache implementation. 

• Magento APIs customisation and integration (REST/SOAP).

• GIT-based source control & deployment. 

• Handson with caching and scaling techniques.

• Guiding and mentoring colleagues.

• Participate in design, coding, testing, debugging, configuring, analysis, code review and documenting operating systems and software.

• Coordinate with project team members regularly and provide support to them with coding guidelines, code review, innovative solution approaches and debugging.

• Focused leaders who see Magento as their growth path and understand Magento architecture and configurations well. 

• 5 plus years of real-world Magento development experience.

• Should have hands-on experience in Magento EE & CE both.

• Excellent communication with all key stakeholders involved.

• Excellent problem solving capabilities and analytical skills.

• Prior experience and knowledge in SQL, data structures with expertise in OOPs, jQuery, AJAX.

• Magento Developer certification is a must. 

• Magento Certified Solution Specialist is a huge plus.

• Solid interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work as a productive member.

• Self-motivated and excellent written and verbal communication.

• Strong interpersonal and client handling skills.

• Should have knowledge about DevOps tools like Jenkins, Docker, GIT etc.
